The Little Black Dress

I’ve always loved a little black dress as you can dress it down with ankle boots and a jacket or dress it up with eye-ctaching accessories and killer heels. If it’s bodycon or lycra then even better so it feels soft and comfortable, while the black colour is very slimming (always a bonus!)

Unfortunately, most of my pre-pregnancy dresses were so figure-hugging they’ve failed to accommodate my growing bump so when I saw this ASOS Maternity Badot dress with half sleeve I knew I had to get it straight away. I think it looks really expensive but it’s just £25!

I wore it to Church with some black wedges and a simple gold necklace, although some colour did come from my bright red nails (OPI Big Apple Red). Our family have a post Church tradition of a huge Sunday lunch and the good thing about this dress is that it’s stretchy as well as being flattering so there’s room for food babies and real babies!
